Szechenyi Baths & Pool: Fun Place, Fine Palace
Szechenyi Baths (built in 1913) is the most visited and much praised attraction in Budapest: relaxing, fun, affordable and, at night, romantic. In addition to the marvellous medicinal natural hot spring waters in the 18 pools, there are 10 saunas / steam cabins, several massage therapies, facial treatments, and more. Szechenyi Bath is in the biggest green park of Budapest, in the City Park, close to a bunch of Budapest attractions. The Neo-baroque palace was specifically built for hosting Szechenyi Baths as Hungary has been the country of baths (and Budapest the City of Baths) for many centuries.
The history of thermal bathing starts with the Roman settlers who built the first spa baths (Aquincum was the Roman’s settlement in today’s ‘old Buda’ district. Then, through the 16th century, Turkish occupiers built many of the famous and revived Turkish baths in Budapest. The 19-21st century even grew further in popularity, promoting natural medical trends where aqua therapies and their beneficial effects attracted hundreds of thousands to thermal spas all over Hungary. The beautiful building of Szechenyi Bath is the design of Gyozo Czigler (Győző Czigler) who started to build Szechenyi Furdo in 1909. As an exciting contrast, these days the bath welcomes thousands of young people to a dazzling laser disco with throbbing vibrations to enjoy an ultimate bath party almost every Saturday night.
Come and enjoy your time in Budapest in Szechenyi Bath, in a beautiful, richly decorated palace. The perfect place to chill out, to get to know locals, make business deals and fall in love. If you are interested in learning more about Budapest baths, explore some more on Baths Budapest.

Hi, is there a complaints procedure? Myself and my friend had to wait 90 minutes for entry, despite having already purchased tickets 2 months prior. Meanwhile, those without a ticket or reservation were being let in, can I be contacted by someone to discuss this in greater detail please. Disgusting!
Hi,
We are looking for a group discount (13 people). Is this possible? How much will be the price?
Kind regards
Hello Cedric,
Thank you for getting in touch.
We have sent you an email regarding your request.
Have a great time in Budapest!
Hello,
I would like to be contacted by someone as id like to discuss the unfair treatment myself and my friend received when we visited a week ago (29th April). We had an all day ticket entry and ended up having to wait 90 minutes to be let in! As the pool had reached capacity, looks a mistake was made and too many tickets were sold! Not only this, but while we were waiting in a queue (hundreds of people who’d already bought tickets), people who were waiting to by tickets on the day without a reservation where receiving apologies from staff and being let in, how unjust! Disgusting, and awfully handled by yourselves!
How ridiculous, to be letting ones in without a ticket when hundreds with tickets are waiting! I have pictures to show this too.
I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to discuss a refund for myself and my friend.

We have already contacted you via email.
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Hi. I’ve messaged you to please ask that you erase my above comment from your site. I wasn’t aware it would be public, and my phone number and email are showing, please can you respond to me and confirm you have deleted it?
Dear Olivia,
At your request, we have removed the sensitive personal information (normally our comment supervisor team removes this kind of information if it is noticed). Comments are indeed publicly shared automatically.
Would you prefer to have the whole comment removed or just the sensitive contact details please?
Unfortunately, standard tickets do not offer a fast track / skip the line option even if they had been purchased many weeks before.
Thank you for your understanding.
