For almost two decades Kari Byron has been a strong presence in the world of reality-based science and adventure television. She is best known as a presenter on Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters but has gone on to host and produce many shows spanning several networks.

Now a founder of EXPLR media, Kari has taken her passion for inspiring education with entertainment a step further. EXPLR-media.com, a streaming service that presents videos online to educate, inspire, and empower young people to become agents of change, launched in 2020 and is quickly becoming a favorite in classrooms and living rooms.

She is currently speaking around the world about the importance of STEAM and the role entertainment can play inspiring education. Her first book Crash Test Girl, An Unlikely Experiment in Using the Scientific Method to Answer Life's Biggest Questions is on shelves now.
