24-70mm f/2.8 lenses are favorites of most professional wedding and event photographers because of their great sharpness, high speed and optimum range.

27 apr. 2023 · For $700 cheaper, the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II Lens is an amazing lens that is worth the price. Not to mention that the RF lenses require an RF mount.

21 aug. 2023 · I recommend it highly. The 24-70 f2.8 is my most used lens by far. It does everything more than well enough to get by. It's insanely practical.

Performance is still very good when used at the ƒ/2.8 setting; from 24mm to 70mm, we see a sharp central region with some corner softness in each focal length.
8 feb. 2024 · AF is slow amd loud, and it is not quite giving me sharp images that I would expect from an L lens.
On full format DSLRs it's a fast standard zoom lens covering everything from moderate ultra-wide angles up to short tele settings.
