West Ham forward close to agreeing team switch after decision made – report

West Ham forward Domingos Quina is close to switching his international allegiance, according to a report.
The Times claim the Guinea-born 17-year-old, who has accumulated five Portugal Under-19 caps, is ready to take advantage of the fact he will be eligible to play for England next year.
It is said that the highly rated teenager, who has earned rave reviews for his prowess in the three attacking positions behind the main forward, has been targeted by the Football Association.
He is ready to change international allegiance in a move that demonstrates his faith in his ability given the competition for places in England.
Quina joined West Ham last summer after cutting his ties with Chelsea, who he had joined from the Benfica youth team in 2012.
The teenager has made two senior Hammers appearances to date, with both of them coming in Europa League qualifiers.

Meanwhile, West Ham’s senior side gave their survival bid a massive boost with a 1-0 Premier League win over Swansea on Saturday.
West Ham had lost five consecutive matches heading into the clash against relegation-threatened Swansea at the London Stadium.
But Slaven Bilic’s side secured the points when through a stunning Cheikhou Kouyate strike shortly before half-time.
Bilic’s side have climbed to 14th in the table with 36 points from 32 Premier League matches, while Paul Clement’s visitors are in the final relegation place with 28 points.
