hi, I just bought pad 6, was wondering how is the scratch resistance level and durability of the LCD glass? Because I am considering whether or not to put an extra layer of tempered glass. I noticed that after putting on tempered glass, it is not so smooth and less clear.

And you get 3 annoying dots on fullscreen videos, unless you turn off optimization in the developer settings, which also breaks auto brightness functionality. So I'd say no, don't do it. You don't get any updates regarding security with hyperOS anyway.

Been using MIUI 14 it had from factory since I got it a couple months ago and I have zero issues. OS updates are overrated in 98% of mobile devices like phones and tablets. Unless they specifically add something you need or fix breaking bugs.
Just keep your actual, regular apps updated and forget about it.

So far it's a great tablet for work, art, games, entertainment. I have not seen any downsides of this one yet.

The aspect ratio is better for video in wide format but I do agree it is better for a tablet to have something closer to 4:3. My friends iPad feels better for overall usage. But we do agree streaming and stuff is better here.
I think the upcoming Pads for Redmi/Xiaomi are closer to iPads in the aspect ratio.
