Is the One Piece manga on break this week?

As of April 2, 2024, the One Piece manga is still on break this week. After the release of chapter 1111, creator Eiichiro Oda announced that he’s going on a three-week break.

Oda recently assured fans there’s nothing wrong with his health. Following the passing of Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama, fans have become more concerned with other authors’ health. Oda mentioned his break is related to giving himself time to rest as a form of “self-maintenance.”

Does the One Piece manga release weekly or monthly?

The One Piece manga currently follows a weekly release schedule. This means a new chapter is available every Sunday (in the U.S.), unless announced otherwise.

Oda usually releases chapters around three to four consecutive weeks before going on a break. Based on this year’s chapter release dates, One Piece chapters are released three times a month, with a break in the middle.
