This golden Zenith Port Royal Chronometre embodies pure elegance and luxury. The rare vintage watch dates from the 1950s and is accompanied by a even much rarer yellow gold bracelet.

The Zenith caliber 135 is one of the most important movements in watchmaking history. It is a COSC certified chronometer and is considered one of the best manual-wound movements ever made. In the 1950s, a chronometer was only considered a chronometer if it was certified by an astronomical observatory. The caliber 135 was developed by Zenith in 1948 and won five consecutive chronometer prizes from the Neuchatel observatory between 1950 and 1954.

The harmonious elegance of this Zenith is hard to beat. The luxurious dial has gold hands and hour markers. At 6 o'clock there is a small sub-dial with running seconds. The case is made of solid 18 carat yellow gold and measures 36mm. The snap-on case back shows a deeply engraved serial number of the watch. The original winding crown bears the Zenith star logo.

One fascinating thing about this vintage watch is its condition. The dial is absolutely perfect. The case has no visible signs of use. The overall condition of this watch is hard to believe, especially considering the old age of the watch.
