“Tonight’s date night and it’s all about love,” says Miranda Kerr, fresh out of the shower, taking us through her preparation rituals.
Quarantined with husband Evan Spiegel (Snap Inc co-founder and CEO) and children, while running her KORA Organics empire at home, Kerr is still carving out time for romance, despite the lack of venue options.
Starting with a mini pamper session — sage spritz included, plus a gifted handheld massage gadget courtesy of her mother — Kerr reveals her complete skincare routine before launching into the date makeup-look of choice. “The basis of great makeup is actually great skincare,” she affirms, having patted-on a glow-inducing face oil and applied a not-yet-released moisturiser from her beauty line.
A skincare routine based on wellbeing
The model-turned-wellness expert also makes sure to include her beloved gua sha rose quartz in her routine (to alleviate tension) and her crystal love runs deep: “I’ve been obsessed with crystals since I was a little girl, since my grandfather would bring big geode crystals home for my grandmother,” Kerr explains. “I was about 13 when I actually realised that crystals have a benefit to them, it’s not just that they’re pretty.”
