The whole royal family is getting an update in season three of The Crown, and Netflix has released the first glimpse of Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret version 2.0, taking over from Vanessa Kirby. Yesterday we finally got to see the new queen herself: The crown has been passed from Claire Foy to Olivia Colman, who will play Elizabeth in season three (as well as season four), which spans the years from 1964 to 1976. Bonham Carter will portray Margaret as she slips even further into her complicated marriage with playboy photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones (and has a few dalliances of her own).

We have a new Armstrong-Jones as well, of whom Netflix tweeted a first look along with Bonham Carter in costume: House of Cards’s Ben Daniels will play her husband. It looks like the only lead role we’re waiting to get a glimpse of is Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip.

We have to wait until 2019 for the next season of TV’s poshest historical soap to come back to our screens, but at least we can fully imagine it now!
