Congratulations are in order for Amber Tamblyn and her husband David Cross, who just welcomed their first child together.

Tamblyn announced the birth of their baby girl on Instagram Tuesday, complete with an elaborate fake name.

"David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey Jr. #TheFutureIsFemale," she joked in the caption, declining to share her baby's real name.

Tamblyn, 33, and Cross, 52, married in 2012.

The actress shared her pregnancy news in October, in a political essay she wrote for Glamour.  "Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon," she wrote. "I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way. I think constantly about the world I am bringing her into."

Even in the final months of her pregnancy, Tamblyn kept up her political activism, marching with Amy Schumer in January's Women's March on Washington.
