The overall feeling is not bad, there is a bathtub, the bath is too comfortable, especially in the cold winter of Venice, it is happier to take a bath in one day! The biggest advantage is that it is too close to the train station, just across a bridge. There is still a certain distance to other attractions. I chose not to go there, and then Gondola and the water bus came back. It's just been a whole afternoon and I've finished visiting Venice!

The Sofia provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Venice will find that the Sofia is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located just 500m from Venezia Santa Lucia and 14km from Venice Marco Polo Airport. This hotel is located near many of Venice's attractions including Gondola Ride, Rialto Bridge and Bridge of Sighs. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.

Close to the train station and bus stop. The facilities are old, the hot water is hot and cold, and a big spider is found. It is necessary to leave a key to the front desk when going out. Breakfast is average and there are few categories.

The actual stay was Hotel Olimpia, right next door. The hotel is an old-fashioned European hotel, the space is too small, and the room is extremely hot, and I don't know why. The sanitary facilities are decent, clean and tidy, and the overall is the domestic Samsung standard. Breakfast is relatively ok, hot food is more.

It is located right next to Piazza Roma in Venice, and it was very clean and nice as if it had been recently renovated. It's in a convenient location for walking or using the water bus, and it's not as noisy as around San Marco Square and Rialto, so it's good to stay.

The hotel is lovely but not in the best location for seeing the major sights (St. Marks, the Doge etc.). The staff was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The one major surprise we had was despite the close proximity to the train station (less than a 10 minute walk) it is difficult if not impossible to walk with large pieces of luggage. We had just come off a cruise and had several large suitcases. We're in pretty good shape, but did want to attempt dragging the suitcases up and down the steep steps of the bridges that separate the hotel from the train station. We ended up having to hire one of the many ”porters” who are outside the train station to load our luggage on their carts and take them up and down the multiple steps. That was 30 euro we had not planned on spending. We had a room on the 4th floor that had a balcony and view of the canal. Our rate included breakfast which was an ample buffet with lots to choose from and great Americano coffee. Try the Apple Spritzer from the bar - it was perfect after a day of sightseeing in 90+ degree temperatures!

The heating in the room is sufficient and the layout is quite cozy. Since the room requires climbing a flight of stairs, it would be nice to have a waiter to help carry the luggage. We booked without breakfast, but it was waived when we checked out. So four stars 🤙🏻🤙🏻

So I was slightly apprehensive after reading reviews. I so shouldn’t have been. Our room was spotless and replenished with towels and toiletries each day . I see people have complained about it being unmanned I personally didn’t mind it it kinda felt like a home from home . Our room had a wee bit that was kinda outdoors looked towards garden and I loved the wee quirky bit . We had gotten a Wowcher £99 holiday and upgraded it and was a bit taken aback on arrival after paying extra for a better hotel , but I soon realised that it’s just Italian style . Yeah it’s dated but it’s warm, welcoming and minutes from the train station and central canal . We found it was a perfect base also if you walk up a bit from hotel going away from central canal there’s a fantastic cicchetti bar so local feeling and the owner was lovely and in the other direction back towards train station on the same street as hotel theres an independent wine bar which had THE BEST LOCAL wines, never tasted anything like it Totally recommend 👌🏻

I took me to the only room on the first floor, and finally pushed the window in the corner and said that it was a garden view room, very quiet. The room in this hotel can be said to be extremely simple. I proposed to change rooms at the time. They said that they were all booked. Another added meaning is: such a cheap house price can only be such a room. The next day, through another room, the Chinese couple complained that the water pressure was unstable and I went directly to the second floor to observe. The room was basically so simple. It’s just warmer than my first floor. The next day I went to inquire about it. The price was generally the same. Looking at the house, I felt that the room would not be very big. Maybe it was Venice. The same price in Florence and Milan has been very good. This hotel is mainly close to the train station. In fact, the whole city of Venice is a hotel, the place is so big, very close to the train station. So everyone can find better, I don't recommend this, I feel very despised, they are very good, but things are not discussed. For example, I told you to pay in cash beforehand. When I checked out, I had already deducted from your card.

The price is exceptional, probably a good offer by chance with booking, which has made me appreciate it more than it is. The room was small and the bathroom was small, but it was clean, as others wrote, TV was not working because of the remote control and there was no reception, but there was no problem at the arrival or departure, with the code sent for message. The managers are at the Lance restaurant, 10 minutes walking away, and we're eating well and we're back the next day because it makes tourist menus with good prices and good food. The first we of Carnival, I was satisfied and if I found a offer like that I enjoyed, I would return. It's comfortable location, from the station or from the Rome square to a few minutes.

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

What I am most satisfied with is the bedding and the public space is beautiful. Hotel room rates fluctuate a bit every day. Venice is all about walking anyway. We put necessary changes in our backpacks and sent our suitcases to the hotel. Wait until after 15:00 to check if there is a cheaper price. Or wherever you go, if you see a hotel you like, just stay in it. There are so many good new five-star hotels in Venice. You can try more!

We checked in here briefly about Air BnB during our Italian holiday. The accommodation is very central, in a quiet location very close to the train station. The newly renovated Venetian style is unrecognised and still technically updated by air conditioning, refrigerator and Wi-Fi. The guests are very nice and there are both local restaurants and a supermarket in the area. We have enjoyed it very well. Only suggestions for improvement: at breakfast breads would have been beautiful and the refrigerator was too hot set. But these are little things. When we stay next night in the beautiful laguna city we will certainly come back

This hotel is advertised as 3 stars, but comes nowhere near to meeting the minimum requirements for 3 stars - It may have been a long time ago but it is definitely not anymore. Staff are not Italian, but from Bangladesh. Communication was an issue - there was only one staff member that worked in the afternoon that could understand English. If you ask them to order you a taxi, they get one of their ”friends” to transport you (which costs more than a normal taxi). The rooms are very small and tired. The bathroom floors are very slippery - my mother fell and hurt herself. Check-in was only available from 3 pm. We arrived on an 11 am flight and were made to wait till 3 pm. There is nowhere to leave luggage securely until check-in. After waiting till 3.30, the cleaner was still busy in the room when we went upstairs to settle in. There is no dining facility (the dining room is closed up). The air-conditioning only operates in the cooler hours of the day - not active between 1 am and 6 am and also between 9 am and 4 pm, which are the hottest parts when needed most and turns off if you open a window and you have to call reception to reset it. It turns off when you leave the room and remove the key. Lots of mosquitoes. We had two different rooms during our stay and both had issues with non-working lights and power points, no bar fridge, and only 1 skinny pillow (more were supplied after multiple requests). There is a lift, but only large enough for one person and a small suitcase. the two of us had to take turns in the lift with our suitcases. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put clothes, toiletries, etc (only one small towel rail and hook) - nowhere in the shower for soaps, etc. Rooms are only serviced (cleaned and re-stocked) every second day. It is convenient to public transport, however, there are very limited and mostly poor eating options in the area. The beds were comfy enough. Only Italian channels were available on the TV in the room.

Liked: Close to airport, but not walkable with a wheeled suitcase, so needed taxi for 20e to travel round the corner. Room was fine for an overnight stop, with a kettle and single sachets of tea/coffee (no milk). Decent bathroom. Ground floor room with French windows onto a very pleasant colonnade, to have drink at from bar in reception (generous measures). Excellent restaurant Ai Do Fogheri opposite. Good soundproofing to outside as went outside with a cup of tea in the morning to find about a dozen people drinking coffee just outside our room. Disliked : No soundproofing from wooden floor above, where guests seemed to be having a party with their suitcases and showering at 03.30, and again at 08.00 so very little sleep. Those rooms described a suites I have been informed are small with a mezzanine and a small double bed. We checked out at 10.30 as requested, and wanted to sit outside with coffees till travelling to meet the rest of our party at the airport, - they could sell us one coffee , but at 11 there was no one available to make us another- which is very poor for a hotel. Phoned for a private taxi for us, but suggested it would be 20/25e, until I made it clear that I would only expect it to be 20e.

We were in Venice for a few days in the lead-up to Easter weekend and stayed in this small, but lovely little hotel not very far from St Mark's Square. As such, it was well situated to visit many key sights and was also close to the waterside by the Doge's Palace for all manner of water transportation being not even five minutes up an alley running up past the back of the Doge's Palace (the prison cells I think!). The staff are super friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is an ideal base for visitors to return to after a day's sightseeing, to refresh before heading out again for an evening meal. There is a small square around the corner (actually, it is triangular!) which offers a breakfast coffee, a lunchtime snack or an evening meal. We had a lovely time, enhanced by staying in this most comfortable of hotels...

We have just returned from a 2-night stay at this lovely hotel. It is well positioned for all the sights and there is a public water taxi stop next to the front of the hotel. The staff make all the difference. Valentino and another young man, whose name I didn’t get, were on reception for the 2 nights we were there. They didn’t stay behind the desk but came out and circulated and were engaging with all the customers, genuinely interested in what everyone had been doing. As front of house, they were outstanding. We had a side canal view. We paid a premium and being only 5’2” if I leant out, with my husband holding my ankles, I could see the Grand Canal. Not sure I would go for this option again. The room itself was small but very comfortable. We both slept very well. The only ****** was breakfast. I would like this to be self-service. On entering the breakfast room, we were advised that we had to have table service we were automatically given some bread rolls and croissants on the table. I like to have a look and then choose my own size portions, normally small. I observed that several people seemed to want to do self-service, but this wasn’t an option. A lot of rolls and croissants weren’t used as not everyone wanted them and I assume went to the bin. Also I just like to be left to do my own thing at breakfast. Table service for tea and coffee would be good. Unfortunately, this is something that would put me off using the hotel again. The only other small issue for me is the individual shampoo etc in the bathroom. I much prefer refillable dispensers which create far less plastic waste.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Porta da Mar Venezia. The location in unbeatable, just a few minutes walking to the Biennale Giardini and Biennale ****nal. Only 15 min walking from San Marco, so you are not in the overcrowded toeristmasses. The Junior suite with Lagoonview was very comfortable. The quality of beds , linen and towels is first class. The bathroom very tastfull and good working, so was the airco. A minibar , coffee and thea fascilities, and everything spotless clean and fresh and new. If the windows are open you have direct awsome view to the water. There is ofcourse some noise from the boats and waterlife, but the windows are very good soundproofing, so we’ve had a very silent peaceful nightrest. Giampaulo, the owner is a most friendly and kind person, and he gave us al kind of info and tips. The small place with only six rooms on the first floor is a real oasis in busy and crowded Venezia. Downstairs there is a litlle bar with terras, so from the early morning till 22.00 u you can go there for a coffee, breakfast, drinks and meals. Very reasonable priced. Compiments for the friendly girl who cleaned our room everyday. Perfect! So we felt very happy at this place, and we can strongly recommend this place. If you are looking for a fine welltasted and goodpriced room on a wonderful location. The Via Girabaldi is just 50 m away with a lot of terrasses and restaurants. We definitely will return. Budget hotel that’s close to the train station. Stayed here for a couple of nights for a weekend in Venice, and had a pleasant stay. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the station. There’s free breakfast provided that’s served by the hotel workers (light pastries and coffee/tea/juice). We had a Jack and Jill room that fit the four of us. There was one restroom and the shower was super small, but we made do. You can hear some of the ambient noises from outside, but earplugs help with that. There’s a 6 euro per person per night charge for the city tax that’s to be paid at the end of your stay. There is luggage storage at the front desk (which was open 24 hours).

We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Venice. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. They made us a takeaway breakfast for the airport without us even asking. This place is incredibly good value, Our room was big & had a king size bed. The bathroom had a really powerful shower. Everything was spotless, we had towels changed and the room serviced daily. There is a brilliant restaurant around the corner on Dante Street, good quality food and not expensive. I would recommend this hotel for Venice, the bus is only 2 minutes walk and is very regular. The train station is 10 mins walk. You can get a shuttle bus from the airport for about 8€ and just walk down 1 street to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, croissants, nice fresh bread rolls, yoghurt, juice, cereal. Plenty for a speedy breakfast before an early start in Venice. (Get there as early as you can to beat the crowds and see the massive operation of getting the City into action) The Wifi in the hotel was great. There was a TV with only Italian channels, but it did have music channels as well. This hotel is such a bargain. Enjoy!

The hotel is situated at an ideal location, right in the heart of the city. Access to public transportation, such as buses and trams, is only a short 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel. The Marco Polo airport is easily accessible within 15 minutes via public transportation, as is the old city of Venice. With frequent transportation options available, this is a great location. While the rooms may be slightly old-fashioned, they are still comfortable for those wishing to rest and enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day. The staff were friendly and Lorenzo, in particular, was especially helpful and accommodating. He went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable, even arranging a specific breakfast for me during Ramadan. Overall, the price for the hotel was more than reasonable.

Room was really lovely well presented quiet and comfortable. Good air conditioning. Quite a dark room as lack of lighting but all lovely. Bathroom toiletries nice and cleaned daily. Hairdryer in bathroom decent not like the normal low power ones you normally find. No tea and coffee making facilities but there was a fridge. Breakfast was delicious lovely selection of pastries, egg and bacon, cheeses, cereal and fruit and really good service. Nice English breakfast tea available too. Cappuccino was amazing. All staff were so friendly and helpful, think they Italians are just naturally lovely friendly happy people. Wish all British were the same! Anything we needed they offered advice and help. My wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist . Overall we loved our stay at Ca Rialto and would definitey stay here again The also have outside deck that offers a view of the Grand Cannel , great spot to bring bottle of wine and drink on the deck and enjoy the view

The Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace was stunning. It was, by far, the best and most beautiful hotel in the category that we saw on our 14 trips from 2019 to 2023. The reception was competent, nice and courteous. First they offered us the luggage service. After that we were taken to the elevator and room. The page followed up the stairs. The room, a junior suite deluxe, has a size of almost 65 square meters including the bathroom. In addition to special pieces of furniture, fine wall fabrics, ”terrazzo alla veneziana” and elegant wooden floors create a Venetian flair. The open plan living area with mini bar leads through the sleeping area to the fine marble bathroom with bathtub and shower. Anyone who knows the Doge's Palace knows that the Junior Suite Deluxe also embodies beauty and splendor. The breakfast is good and diverse. The buffet includes bread and rolls, spreads, cheese and sausage, cold dishes such as yoghurt, hot dishes such as sausages, fruit, salad, desserts such as mousse and drinks. An ideal location only a few minutes walk away from the Rialto Bridge our apartment was in a block not far from Hotel Ai Reali. We went there first to check in and get our key. We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

The hotel is on a separate island and there is only this hotel on the island. The environment is well maintained. There is a pool and restaurant on the roof. You can see the main island of Venice. In terms of transportation, there is a ferry to and from San Marco Square on the main island. The boat and the one-way shuttle bus to St. Lucia Railway Station on the main island are free. We live in small suites, the rooms and beds are large, the bathrooms and cloakrooms are large, and the experience is very good!

It was already 11 o'clock in the evening at the airport. I took a bus to the hotel and it was very convenient. It will arrive in five minutes. The hotel room is large. One room and one living room. Can live 4 people, we are more than enough to live. The front desk also has a bus ticket to Venice Island, which is very convenient. This price is at the hotel and the price is very high.

We stayed here for 3 nights early September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the first time we’d been to Venice and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

We spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in mid-November. We often return to this facility because it is comfortable for anyone who wants to live in Venice and elegant. The bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious enough. The only discomfort the rough stairway to get to the first floor is the discomfort to do with the baggage in hand. For the rest we recommend it to all especially to couples visiting the Serenissima.

The reading reviews had made me fear to find a sophisticating structure, but the opposite is, my fellow and I were very good, the comfortable, clean, comfortable room. It was my first stay at Master and, hopefully, I will always choose this hotel for your stay. ...
