More details about WaterWorld WaterPark, Ayia Napa, Cyprus.

WaterWorld is one of Europe’s biggest themed waterparks and is operated to a high standard by the owners.

You can buy tickets in advance, and we are delighted to say the website booking system is good!

Personal lockers are available for rent as you walk through the gates. These are controlled by a waterproof wristband which ensures you can access your locker whenever you want without carrying a key around with you all day!

WaterWorld Ayia Napa also provides large and reasonably clean changing rooms with private changing areas and shower cubicles. This is a nice touch.

As is standard for all water parks, you can’t bring in food and drinks from the outside. Instead, WaterWorld offers a variety of cafes and restaurants (which, of course, are a little more expensive than in the outside world).

Available food and snacks include full meals (including salads and local dishes), burgers, hotdogs, fish and chips, pizza, crepes, etc.

Pools, slides and attractions at WaterWorld.

The park offers over 25 “attractions”. These include a large wave pool, lazy river, seven larger slides, and multiple play areas for small children. WaterWorld also offers basic free sun loungers throughout the park.

Five Star Luxury at WaterWorld Ayia Napa

A real point of difference for WaterWorld is that they offer you the opportunity to transform a great day out into an extra special five-star VIP experience, all thanks to the “Thea” cabanas and the impressive VIP Suite.

“Thea” cabanas

For a very reasonable extra fee (around €45), you can book a Thea VIP Cabana. There are 25 of these situated in prime locations throughout WaterWorld. Please note this fee is in addition to your entry ticket!

Each Cabana accommodates up to five people, and the price includes a nearby personal locker, which is perfect for storing valuables when you decide to go and have fun around the park.

The cabanas are perfect for couples looking to spend the whole day at the park and for parents with older children who prefer relaxing while the kids explore the slides and attractions.

As demand is high, you’ll need to book these online during the peak summer months before your visit, and we are impressed with the online booking system. The booking system clearly shows the location and availability of all cabanas and allows you to choose the cabana you prefer (subject to availability of course!).

The “Thea” VIP Suite

The VIP suite is like a five-star luxury hotel room, with a large veranda containing a cabana, extra comfortable sun loungers and even a private hot tub.

The suite is cleverly placed in the centre of WaterWorld above one of the park’s kiosks. This ensures the VIP suite doesn’t look out of place.

The VIP suite blends in so well that most WaterWorld visitors are unaware it exists, and this means you can enjoy the VIP suite without feeling you have personally become one of the park’s major attractions!

Below you can watch WaterWorld’s promotional video for the “Thea” VIP suite.

At first glance, the VIP suite may appear to be very expensive (€700 at the time of writing); however, when you take into account the price includes four entry tickets, and the VIP suite can accommodate up to 8 people, we believe this becomes an affordable treat for many people.

Taking away the cost of four entry tickets and the fact you don’t need to rent lockers (approximately €200 in total), the price of the VIP suite is already reduced to €500.

Another example is if eight adults treat themselves to the VIP suite for the day, the total cost plus the extra four adult entry tickets required (€48 each) comes to €892. Divide that between 8 people, and the price is around €112.00 per person.

The WavePool Party

The WavePool party featured in our video above operates every Sunday from 3 pm until closing during the peak summer months, and there is no extra charge to attend once you have paid for your entry into WaterWorld.

Even if the Wave Pool Party is not your thing, you’ll find it reduces queuing times on all the rides because so many people are in the Wave Pool on Sunday afternoons during the peak season! Something to keep in mind!
