Zendaya, Willow Smith, and Kiernan Shipka cover W's April Dream Teens issue looking, well, dreamy. And while most fans are totally stoked for their fave girls to be on a major magazine cover (with an awesome interview), some people are unhappy with the way Zendaya and Willow look, calling out the publication for supposedly "whitewashing" them.
They're suggesting that through Photoshop or the lighting of the photo, the girls look paler than usual, thereby making them appear "less black."
Some upset fans took to social media to voice their concern with the cover.
They also commented on W's Instagram account.
No one from W magazine has commented on the controversy yet, but both girls seem perfectly happy with the cover. They've posted the shot to their own Instagram accounts, and have said how honored they are to be included.
