I am a big fan of the anime and the manga, and to me, the series was so rushed. Eight episodes are not enough at all to introduce the characters, show how they created a bond, and adapt the whole East Blue Saga. I mean, I don't care about how they changed the storyline if the nature of the characters is the same. Contrary, it could be refreshing if you know every little detail even in your sleep, but they should have left some screen time for proper development. My problem is that the cast is terrific. Plus the cinematology and the music are also perfect. So I don't know how to feel about it at all.
