Lagotto Romagnolo

Lagotto Romagnolo,  also known as italian water dog and truffle hunter, is  small to a medium size dog with non-shedding curly coat and great disposition.

Lagotti are highly intelligent, naturally obedient and eager to please which makes anyone training them feel like a dog whisperer. These affectionate dogs can be reserved with strangers but are close to their family members.

Lagotto Romagnolo is an active breed that loves to play, spend time outdoors and swim. They require as much mental exercises as physical to keep them content.

Lagotto Romagnolo is best suited to owners with similar interests. They get along with dogs and other pets if properly socialized.

Our Lagotti are very creative in developing new games. Our Mango loves to replant roots he digs out while we out on the trail. Our Mia loves to fetch ball but she also enjoys more challenging tasks such as searching for her ball and digging it out from difficult places. Our Della is a fisherman. She is in the water whenever she can trying to catch whatever is moving. Have not caught fish yet but did catch crayfish few times. It is impossible not to smile with lagotti around.
