ALF's antics drive the Tanners--Willie and Kate and their children, Lynn and Brian --to relocate the furry alien to the family garage.

Bored with his quiet life at the Tanners, ALF, an avid fan of the television series "Gilligan's Island," decides to create a South Sea island in their backyard--much to Willie's displeasure.

Raquel Ochmonek, the Tanners' next-door neighbor, sees the elusive ALF. After she tells everyone she spotted an alien being, Mrs. Ochmonek is treated by the townsfolk, including her husband, Trevor, as though she were crazy.

When Lynn encourages ALF to draw up his family tree, he discovers that his parents were married before he was born--a disgrace on his native planet, Melmac.

When the Tanners become a Nielsen family, ALF rigs the people meter to "skew up" the ratings of his favorite shows--which causes havoc for NBC Entertainment President Brandon Tartikoff.

At ALF's urging, Willie hosts a Halloween costume party to impress his boss and get a better job.

Lynn becomes upset when a boy rejects her at a school dance. Fearing she may not be as pretty as some of her schoolmates, she turns to her family for support.

The Tanners are excited about hosting Dorothy and Whizzer's wedding in the Tanner home. Excluded from the wedding party, ALF reacts with a case of nonstop, nerve-shattering Melmacian hiccups.

To cheer up a depressed ALF, who says he never has any more adventures, Willie admits to some youthful escapades.

Fearful of leaving ALF alone in the house, Kate and Willie have been going out separately, which ALF takes as a sign of a troubled marriage. ALF enlists the help of the kids to give Kate and Willie a second honeymoon.

When ALF continually disrupts Kate's sleep to ask about the American political process, Kate gives ALF a civics lesson and then dreams that they are opponents in the Presidential election.

When the Ochmoneks' nephew Jake, a belligerent boy who has trouble communicating with anyone, comes to stay with them while his father is in prison, they ask the Tanners for help in raising him.

Accused of breaking the Ochmoneks' window, ALF is put on trial by the Tanners. Certain he can defend himself and avoid the penalty of no TV privileges for a month, ALF agrees to participate in the proceeding.

When Uncle Albert dies of a heart attack upon discovering ALF camping in the backyard, ALF fears he may have scared the man to death. The mourning Tanners soon learn about the unique Melmacian way of death and its rituals from ALF.

ALF insists on helping Willie and the Tanners with their involvement in the neighborhood watch.

Willie must rescue ALF from the SWAT team surrounding the Ochmoneks' house, where ALF had pursued a burglar. Trapped in the Ochmoneks' home, ALF uses multiple voices to make the police think the mystery burglar has taken hostages.

An overprotective ALF tries to be a "seeing-eye alien" for his blind friend, Jody, whom he invites to live in his home when her building is converted into condominiums.

Mean old Ethel Buttonwood responds to the Tanners' advertisement about a lost dog that Brian brought home, but the Tanners are convinced that the cute canine really belongs to someone else.

ALF tries to teach Brian to defend himself against schoolyard terror Kenny Duncan, while Willie advocates nonviolent confrontation ... until he meets the boy's hostile father.

Willie's job promotion means a transfer to San Diego, which the rest of the family and ALF dread. ALF schemes to prevent the move.

Everyone is at a loss for words to explain the antisocial behavior of ALF's latest mail-order acquisition--a ventriloquism dummy named Paul. As ALF becomes more skilled at throwing his voice, Paul becomes more manipulative.

Kate's former college roommate, Maura, spies ALF raiding the refrigerator and believes he is the imaginary friend who's been visiting her during her seven years of alcoholism.

Despondent that he can't attend Jake's eighth-grade graduation party, ALF envisions the freedom he would have if he revealed himself to the world, and he fantasizes about hosting "Late Night with David Letterman."

Lynn wants to enroll at Amherst, but the Tanners can't afford it because of the cost of ALF's damages and feedings.
