The Gran Canaria giant lizard / Gallotia stehlini is the largest surviving member of the Gallotia family, and one of the largest lacertidae. Reaching lenghts of over 80cm and over half a kilo. They are omnivorous and endemic to the Canary island of Gran Canaria, Spain.
