The Treasury - We will meet you at the horse riding point and start our tour. On the way you get to see many of Petra caves and attractions; the traveler will reach the SIQ, which is the ancient main entrance leading to the city of Petra, starts at the Dam and ends at the opposite side of the vault, a split rock with a length of about 1200m and a width of 3 to 12m, and height up to about 80m;
At the beginning of the Siq, one can still view the remains of the city’s gate. On both sides of the Siq, there are channels to draw water from Wadi Musa (the Valley of Moses).
The siq opens up onto Petra’s most magnificent Scene, Alkhaznh.
It is almost 40 meters high and intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, figures and more.

This tour offers a unique perspective on Petra as it deviates from the usual route, ‘Al Siq’, providing an alternate access to the ancient city. You also have the opportunity to discover ‘Al Siq’ during your return journey, allowing you to traverse up to 80% of the Archaeological park in a single day. As a guide, I am able to provide a deep knowledge about Petra’s history, along with detailed maps that highlight numerous archaeological spots.

Our Indiana Jones adventure - This is the only guide you will ever need to show you the most fascinating places on the mountains. Very humble and nice. We stopped for tea. Cooked by Muhammad. My daughter and I sat down to the most amazing view. Muhammad gave us a few history facts. His horses were gentle and are proficient mountain climbers. Thank you Muhammad. From Surnell and DENESE

horse riding upon the hills of petra - Mohammed and his young assistant gave us a marvelous trip by horse in the late hours in petra. If you ever have the chance to go with them, do not hesitate. Mohammed loves his horses, he knows the way and you will have an extraordinary experience!!! Once in a live time 👍

Amazing! Unforgettable Experience. - I cannot recommend Mohammad enough. The tour was beautiful, getting to see Petra from a different perspective to the normal tourist route, then walking back through the tourist route, was an experience I will not forget. We saw the majority of Petra in a matter of hours, where it would normally take days by foot. Mohammad knows his horses so well and you can tell he adores them. We were a mixed group of riding abilities and he matched each of us to a horse perfectly for each horses personality. He has so much knowledge of Petra and the surrounding areas. His English is near perfect and he will answer any of your questions with ease. Mohammad himself is very kind, helpful, and giving. Again, I cannot recommend Mohammad and his tours enough.

Beautiful Views! - Mohammad was a great guide, very kind and attentive. He takes good care of his horses, and treats them humanely. The views were beautiful as well, it was nice being in a peaceful area outside the busy center of Petra. There was a slight misunderstanding as this page says that Entry/Admission is included in this tour, but keep in mind that it isn’t, and budget for an extra $50 (USD) for the Entry/Admission, if you don’t have the Jordan Pass ;)
