Celebrity Big Brother 2011 host Brian Dowling kicked off the very first show in style, filling the luxurious house with 10 brand-spanking new housemates - including Kerry Katona, Jedward, Tara Reid, Amy Childs and Sally Bercow.
Along with this gaggle of stars sent to entertain us was Big Fat Gypsy Wedding's Paddy Doherty, Lucien Laviscount from Waterloo Road, Darryn Lyons, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff and Bobby Sabel (we're still working out who he is). And WHAT a glam show it was. The crowd went wild as Kerry - the first to hit the infamous house - was unveiled, arriving in a black, strapless dress with a huge train, teetering stilettos and a quiff to rival Jedward.
Nervously making her way into the house (she could be heard heavy breathing in the house for about half an hour after, bless her), Kerry was followed by American Pie actress Tara - who managed to miss Brian's request for a hug as she posed for snappers. However there was an awkward moment when the pair met in the house, with Tara calling her 'Kerrah' before finally understanding her real name. It was former TOWIE star Amy who brought the real glamour on the night, arriving with in a gold sequined bandeau frock with a swirled print, matching courts and her red hair perfectly styled.
The Essex beauty promised host Brian she'd glam up the house, before teasing that she may have packed her vajazzle kit in her suitcase. The lovely ladies joined BFGW star Paddy in the house, who seemed chuffed to see Amy (we gather they met at the Baftas) and all chatted nervously as they waited for the next batch of housemates. Two more blondes in the form of Sally Bercow, wife of the House of Commons Speaker and The Hoff's ex-wife Pamela were next, with Sally vowing to not be controlled and Pamela calling Brian a, er, buttercup.
Also joining the show as housemates was paparazzo Darryn, who claimed his hair was from his parrot, cutie Lucien and model Bobby - who has apparently modelled for the likes of Ted Baker. Jedward made the biggest entrance of all the boys, arriving in tiger-print jackets and panda shoes (want some) and got a mixed reaction from the crowd, before bouncing into the house. The pair went into overdrive when they spied Tara amongst the celebrities and told her they'd seen American Pie a bunch of times, while Amy asked the twins how they tell them apart.
But it wasn't long before the housemates were set loose in the house that the first task was set, with Kerry being told she had to throw a diva-like tantrum within the first half an hour or be punished.
