Ping and Pong’s story: These sibling Pekes were relinquished to the Orange County Animal Care Center by their family, who said they were allergic to the dogs. It’s such a shame to see dogs given up after a decade with a family, and the people who relinquished these guys is missing out on tons of fun. They have huge personalities. Ping gets so excited when he sees someone he knows. He does a happy dance, bouncing up and down on his front feet and literally grinning. Pong is incredibly mellow. Nothing fazes him. They get along with other dogs, although Ping would do best with calm siblings. They need some house-training but come with free help from a certified professional dog trainer. These two certainly don’t act their age; they seem more like 5 or 6. They are looking for an indoor home together.

Adoption fee: $300 for both, includes microchips, free training in adopter’s home and free training classes

Adoption procedure: Contact Maryanne with Shamrock Foundation at 714-270-4187 or flypupmom@gmail.com. Adoption application and contract and home check required.
