Joseph Gordon Levitt is going from starring as the King of Uber to the King of Late-Night.

The two-time Emmy Award winner has been tapped to play legendary talk show host Johnny Carson in an upcoming biographical series called “King of Late Night

According to Deadline, the “500 Days of Summer” star was already in the sights of producers Jay Roach and David Milch as the series began to take for.

The series will reportedly take a deep dive into “The Tonight Show” host’s life, both on and offscreen.

Levitt has transitioned well from the child actor in the long-running sitcom “3rd Rock from the Sun” to become an in-demand adult star of films like “Shadowboxer,” “Miracle at St. Ana,” “Inception” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7.”

The 41-year-old Los Angeles native, to be next heard as Jiminy Cricket in “Pinocchio,” is also will also on board to executive produce the series, according to the outlet.

Before then, he can currently be seen playing Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in the Showtime series “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber.”
