Meet Patch — the poor pup who’s a dead ringer for Adolf Hitler.

The adorable seven-week-old puppy looks so much like the former Nazi leader that he’s even started responding to the unfortunate nickname.

But his owners insist that, unlike his long dead doppelganger, he’s a gentle and loving dog.

He may have sinister markings, he may even salute, but Patch's owners say he is the sweetest pooch you could ever ask for.

Lynda Whitehead, from York in England, said her grandson’s pooch was just another family pet until her daughter spotted the likeness.

“She said, ‘You’ve got a little Hitler there,'” she told the Mirror, adding: “Although he’s called Patch, everybody calls him Adolf now.”

The French bulldog and Shih Tzu cross is being reared at Whitehead’s home with his two brothers after their mom Betty rejected them.

“Patch is a lovely little thing,” she added to the York Press. “All of them are, but he is the gentlest of them all. He will sit on your lap and just look at you until he falls asleep.”
