A Miami Vice-style couch gag will be included ahead of the latest episode of The Simpsons in the US this weekend.
The elaborate animation sees Homer Simpson transformed into Joe ‘Kaz’ Kazinsky, the star of Lay-Z Rider. The 1980s action spoof sees Kazinsky travel around on a gun-toting sofa as he faces off against nemesis Fernando Whitmore (a dead ringer for Ned Flanders).
Eagle eyed fans will also spot versions of popular characters Sideshow Bob, Snake, Bart, Lisa, Chief Wiggum, Marge, Apu, Willie, Dr. Nick, Moleman, Fat Tony, Lenny, and Carl in the short clip.
This couch gag will air as part of the January 10 episode ‘Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles’ on Fox.
