It was such a pleasure to volunteer again at We Care, an event that embraces the holiday spirit with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas and Fort Worth. I was involved in We Care during my time at Herman Miller and it has always been a community event that is near and dear to my heart. This was my first year as a face painter and I had a blast~! However, I definitely need to brush up on my artistic skills for next year :) We Care is a non-profit business partnership that unites the Boys & Girls Club of America and MillerKnoll, Inc. This special day includes a variety of craft stations where children make holiday gifts for their family and friends. Representatives from Dallas and FTW interior design firms and community partners come up with unique craft ideas, and are on hand to help, teach and share in meaningful festivities. We Care will also includes photos with Santa, face painting, and a pizza dinner. First held in 1997 in Chicago, the event has grown to 27 cities across the U.S. and Canada, and has served more than 35,000 deserving children.
