Sarah Moon is an internationally-trained actress and writer. Her screen debut was at age 17 on the TV mini-series Mna Dibeartha, where she featured as Irish convict Catherine Bartley.
Sarah was born Sarah Louise Moon in Hobart, Tasmania. She is the youngest of three daughters and went to a private school in Hobart. With a passion for acting cultivated at a young age, Sarah moved to London at 18 to study acting and directing at The Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she graduated with a bachelor of honours, first class.
Sarah writes for stage and screen and founded Moonlight Motion Pictures (MMP) in 2022, an independent production house producing original works that capture the truth and beauty of our humanity. The short film Life Beyond Christine, written by and starring Sarah, is the debut production for MMP, due for release in 2024.
