Sturdy Table & Easy to assembleLuanaI thought it would be complicated assembly but it was together in about an hour. It is a heavy sturdy table that will be used in my sewing room.
Love the clean white finish and the quality. 5
In love.AlexisThis table was perfect for our space. Very cozy feeling, the drawers are so great, and feels very sturdy. It takes up very little space but is perfect for our breakfast nook! 5
Nice table HonGot this for my apartment to save space when I don’t need the full size table. It’s convenient to be able collapse it down and use it as a side table next to the couch. 5
Great space saving optionAdamI love how when both sides of the table are folded down it acts as a shelf and storage. 5
Love the table!Verified BuyerI really love this table…perfect for my craft room. So solid and compact…yet spacious when open. The only thing I want to change is I have wheels to add for moving it around, but I can’t figure out how to remove the floor glides from the holes in the bottom of the legs so I can put the wheels in…any ideas??5
Have a good impact driver handy when assemblingLoriThe NORDEN birch gateleg table is an attractive, versatile, & sturdy piece of furniture that fits beautifully in a small space & can be easily moved, in spite of its weight, if you set it on furniture sliders. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to assemble properly unless you've got a good impact driver & are able to bear down on the driver with at least 50 pounds of pressure. The machine screws provided to hold the hinges in place may work well for the NORDEN white gateleg table, which is, apparently, made largely of particle board. But the solid wood birch table needs wood screws. Screws with a different head than the slip-prone Phillips head would also help. I did manage to assemble the table myself with a combination of a manual screwdriver & a battery-powered screwdriver, but because I couldn't tighten the screws well enough to sit flush with the hinges, the table was both unstable & looked like garbage. My boyfriend fixed it for me--with much effort--using his impact driver.2

Rock solid tableWarrenRock solid table, using in wifes’s sewing/ craft room. Probably nicest furniture available from Ikea.5
not the same color as picturedMishelleDisappointed in the color. The website shows a natural finish but when we got home and pulled it out of the box it was a horrible white washed color. We like the table itself so we plan on sanding it and putting a natural finish on it but that is a bit of work. Overall it was easy to put together and nice and sturdy, just the color that was a let down. 3
Desk/Table ThomasWhat a great item! Fairly easy to put together and looks great ! 4
Norden gate leg tableGwenI love this table. It’s very sturdy and works very well in my sewing room.5
Exactly what I was looking for. WendyI’m using the table for sewing. I like the flexibility of being able to drop one or both sides of the table. The drawers on both sides will allow me to store a lot of my sewing supplies. 5

Beautiful TableNancyAfter reading the reviews I hired Task Rabbit to assemble this table and two bookcases for me. I love the style and convenience of the gateleg table. It is very sturdy. The drawers are bigger than they appear. It is easy to raise and lower the sides. It sits four comfortably but would accommodate six just as well.5
Great design; difficult assemblyL.Love this table, and so glad to finally own it. What a wonderful design for a small space! Only reason it didn't get five stars is the assembly difficulty. Instructions were great, but the screws provided did not go into the wood properly. I managed, but it was so frustrating.4
NEEDS!! WHEELS!! :'DMelissaOkay, so let me start by saying that this table is incredible. We've only had it for a little over a week and we haven't had the chance to put it to its intended use because we are currently trying to DIY some wheels on this thing. It's heavy, made of solid wood, and it feels like it will survive for a long time. Also, it was REALLY easy to assemble. Great! We plan on using it as a multi-functional piece in our super small home, as a craft table that can be made into a dinner table when my partner and I host. We think it's going to serve this purpose excellently. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE: It NEEDS a wheel option. If IKEA could design and sell optional wheels for this that can hold up lots of weight, that would make this item literally perfect. :') Please, please, please consider offering optional castors with this table!4
We saw this and it works out great for us. Frank JTable will get a lot of use, it also gives us a lot of space in the room.5
