In a swift change of plans, Rachel Zoe will not be part of February’s New York Fashion Week, which kicks off Feb. 6 and runs through Feb. 13.
As first reported by Women’s Wear Daily, the celebrity stylist-turned-designer — whose current clients include Jennifer Lawrence, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Garner and Isla Fisher — has called off her Feb. 13 show at Lincoln Center. A rep for Zoe also confirmed the news to Pret-a-Reporter.

“While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I’ve made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from Feb. 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles,” Zoe — who welcomed her second son, Kaius Jagger, in December — told WWD. “As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me, and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York.”
She plans to continue her market trip to NYC on Feb. 10 and looks forward to returning to NYFW in September.
Last week, Pret-a-Reporter broke the news that the superstylist’s former client Anne Hathaway had called off their nearly decade-long relationship with Zoe to work with veteran stylist Penny Lovell, who also works with Rose Byrne, Taylor Schilling, Bella Heathcote and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Sources in the know revealed that Lovell had been pulling pieces from showrooms for Hathaway, and Sundance was reportedly the first time the Song One actress stepped out in Lovell-styled outfits.
