Selena Gomez has shared her AM to PM beauty routine, and she has a very unique way of removing makeup

Bougie but brilliant.

Selena Gomez is just like us: listening to Ariana Grande while we prep our skin for the day ahead. The Only Murders in the Building star, who is an avid TikToker, took to the video-based app to share her morning routine last year (spoiler: it involves a lot of moisturising and a little sultry pop) – and now, she's shared her evening beauty routine, too. This time around, the soundtrack comes courtesy of another of her popstar pals, Miley Cyrus, naturally.

ICYMI, here's everything Selena does while getting ready in the AM. Tagging her cosmetics line, Rare Beauty, she captioned the July 2022 post: “Morning routine before make up.” Clad in two towels (plus what have got to be eyelash extensions… although she does have a game-changing mascara hack that went viral), Selena starts off with those gold under-eye gel patches that celebs seem to love, then applies a white cream between her brows and to the bridge of her nose.

She sprays some 7Seconds detangler from Unite in her hair, combs it back, applies another gold gel patch, this time to her lips, then slicks her hair with some Smooth and Shine cream, also from Unite.

To prevent bodily dryness, Gomez lathers Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Body Cream on her chest and legs, followed by a swipe of her very own Rare Beauty With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm in “Honor - clear.” Finally, she combs out her eyebrows and snaps on some gold hoops and she's good to go!

Now, Selena has shared what is seemingly her evening routine, too, sharing her unique tricks for removing makeup – as well as getting real with her followers about the perks of product gifting.

"PSA I got most of these products free. I ain’t just rolling like that everywhere. Use any serum to take off make up before washing. It breaks it up nicely. Also use a sponge to wipe eyes to treat eyes delicately when removing make up. K I’m done pretending I know what I’m taking about,” she captioned her video.

No doubt the disclaimer was down to the fact that Selena used Creme De La Mer's pricey La Concentrate serum, which costs £170, to break down and remove her makeup.

She then uses Bioderma micellar water to remove the makeup on her skin, before pouring some on a makeup sponge to apply it to her eyes and take off her mascara and eyeliner. Next, it's Dermalogica's Multi-Active Toner, which she sprays onto a reusable cotton pad to apply to her cheeks.

Selena then layers a number of products onto her skin, starting with the La Mer The Renewal Oil, £105, followed by Tatcha's The Water Cream, £63, and the La Neige Radian-C Cream, £22.50.

But in a plot twist that had fans wondering whether Selena Gomez's evening routine was actually Selena Gomez's evening routine, the star added a makeup product (well, sort of) to the mix – by applying her Rare Beauty Positive Light Under Eye Brightener, £23. Confused? Make it make sense! Perhaps… Selena loves the skincare ingredients in her under eye brightener so much that she's happy to wear it to bed?

Maybe she'll clear things up in another post, since TikToker @jasminedarya has gone viral with a video analysing the star's unusual skincare routine – and we know Selena has seen it, since she left her a cute comment. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, have you seen the pics of Selena attending the Golden Globes with Jenna Ortega? Yep, they walked the red carpet together and we are more than here for it.
