Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick don’t share a lot of family photos with the public, so it’s up to the couple’s kids to give us an inside peek into their adorable family life.
On November 27, Parker and Broderick’s oldest child, 21-year-old James, posted a photo to his Instagram grid showing himself, his parents, and his two younger sisters posing for a selfie together while snuggled up in bed over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Broderick is on the far side of the bed, followed by 14-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha, one of whom is playfully sticking out her tongue. Next to Marion is Parker, who has the covers pulled up to her chin, and finally there is James, who is the photographer. “Cheers, California,” he wrote in the caption.

James’s post also included some photos taken while at an LA Lakers game, a close-up shot of a cut of steak, and a sign for Babbitt, the new play Matthew Broderick is currently starring in. In the comments, Broderick's Babbitt costar (and Parker’s Sex and the City costar) Julie Halston wrote, “Loved having you here!”
In July, Sarah Jessica Parker told iHeartPodcast’s Table for Two With Bruce Bozzi (per E! News) a little bit about her parenting style. “I think it’s a great way of living for children that their needs are met—to be fed, safe, and loved, the important things in life: books and food and interesting experiences, and they’re warm in the winter and cool in summer,” she said. “But they should pine for things, they should want things. And we should also be interested in, how do they contribute to the things?”
