Selena Gomez has reflected on a series of Instagram stories about accepting her fluctuating body size.

The Only Murders in the Building star, who recently debuted her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, started her trip down memory line by sharing a photo of herself in a zebra print bikini from 2013. Captioning the story, Gomez wrote: ‘Today I realised I will never look like this again…’

She then followed up the picture with a paparazzi bikini shot of her from January 2023, which she captioned: ‘I’m not perfect, but I am proud to be who I am… Sometimes I forget it’s ok to be me.’

This isn’t the first time that the Rare Beauty founder has shared a message of body positivity.

In April 2022, she called out bodyshamers who criticised her appearance on TikTok. ‘Honestly, I don't care about my weight because people bitch about it anyway,’ she said in her stories. ‘”You're too small,” “you're too big,” “that doesn't fit.” “Meh meh meh meh.”’

Gomez's message of body positivity comes after sources confirmed to People that she was feeling 'super happy and present' amid her romance with Blanco.

'She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment,' a source told the publication. The source added: 'Maybe that's Benny or maybe that's just where she's at personally and professionally.'
