Inside ELLE's 30th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Los Angeles

In support of our nine 2023 ELLE Women in Hollywood honorees—Jennifer Lopez, Jodie Foster, Taraji P. Henson, America Ferrera, Danielle Brooks, Greta Lee, Fantasia Barrino Taylor, Lily Gladstone, and Eva Longoria—guests gathered at Nya Studios on Dec. 5 to kick the holiday season off with cheer(s). Stars including Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Washington, Bella Ramsey, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Dominique Fishback, Phoebe Dynevor, and Alexandra Daddario clinked glasses alongside sponsors Ralph Lauren, Harry Winston, and Viarae as our distinguished guests take the stage to share their appreciation—and their hopes for where women might take Hollywood (and the larger world) next. As Lopez told the audience, “You understand that the actual magic of being a woman is to be able to do many different things, and do them spectacularly, and quietly, with our heads down day to day, without complaining, and most times with little appreciation and recognition ... I echo the words from that lovely video we just saw: “Why can’t we do all the things?” I will always believe that we can, that all of you can, that I can.”
