    Excellent receiver!

    Quality product. I use in stereo mode as well as surround sound. Really sings! The surround transitions smooth, and my sub has never sounded better. Make sure you give the unit some room to breath and have a firm base, as this receiver is stout. Highly recommend.

    Great Sound!!

    Recently acquired this receiver for my home theater system. Very easy to set up. It even told me one of my rear speakers was connected out of phase, which I corrected. Watched the Rush, Time Machine blue ray disc on it. Sound was incredible! Detailed, full and clear. I then played an LP on my Luxman turntable connected to this receiver. BTO , Not Fragile, never sounded so good. Played Yes, Boston and Alice Cooper as well. Each Lp sounded great!! The dynamic volume feature works very well. Each lp sounded great even at low levels. Remote was nice and easy to use. The Marantz provides plenty of power to all seven of my speakers, which include a pair of large Polk LS 50s, a pair of Wharfedales, and a pair of B&W 602s.     Classic looks with cutting edge features

    I have had the receiver for almost 1.5 year now and there is a newer version of it but it is still a solid choice. I was running my Denon 4802 for about 10 years and finally decided to upgrade to an HDMI switching receiver. I thought about another Denon but love the sound of my Marantz receiver I am running in another/smaller room, SR5003, and thought I would give them a close look as well. Long story short, I settle on the SR7005. I did it not only for sound but also technology. I was kind of surprised to see at the time that the Marantz being slightly ahead of the Denon's but not that surprised I suppose since they are owned by the same company. The Marantz had the latest HDMI 1.4a spec at the time which is really nice and includes 3D support. The other thing that sold me on it was ...

    Impressive

    This is not for beginners and there is a lot to learn about. There is plenty of power and the sound is very clean even at eviction notice sound levels. That being said this thing does a great job at both music and TV sound and has a lot of good features. The only drawback is it is not a 4k reciever.

    the best receiver I have ever buy, Marantz is the best

    this is a very high tech Receiver, and the brand Marantz is one well know too.know I did connect my receiver to my speakers ( Klipsch ) and I did give them a test on the sound and the quality, and let me tell you, my speakers Klipsch sound even better than before, this is a very nice receiver, cost is not low but the quality from Marantz it will be always there.!!also, you can add wireless Internet and listen to any radio station FM in any Country around the World,know if you want more, you can also play Pandora and listen to your selected station.With the wireless connection; you can buy a " Wireless bridge connector " in any Best Buy, hope I give you the answer you are looking for about this product..!!
