Haley Joel Osment has joined the cast of the Entourage movie.

The former child star will feature in a currently unknown role in the film version of the HBO series from Doug Ellin, reports Deadline.

Jeremy Piven, Billy Bob Thornton, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara will star in the project alongside other original cast members.

Ellin and Rob Weiss have written the screenplay, with Mark Wahlberg and Weiss producing.

Constance Zimmer recently joined the cast of the movie, which is due for release in 2015.

Osment has just finished production on Kevin Smith's comedy Tusk, and recently co-starred in the IFC miniseries The Spoils of Babylon.

He can also been seen in Amazon Studios' Alpha House with John Goodman.
