CSI's George Eads to 'fight for custody of his daughter after filing for divorce' from wife of four years
He used to solve a murder conveniently within an episode but looks like this star may find himself in a long drawn out court battle.
TMZ reports former CSI star George Eads has just filed for divorce from his long time partner Monika Casey.
The website reported on Monday that both the 48-year-old and his actor/producer wife have both submitted legal papers with very different approaches to custody of their one-year-old daughter Dylan.

George - who left the series that made him a star earlier this year - has asked for joint physical and legal custody, according to legal documents.
Monika however, the website reports, wants sole custody of the little girl.
And that is not the only disagreement they pair have, the actor also claims there is a prenuptial agreement between the couple but his estranged wife makes no mention of that.

As the custody battle brews, George was getting in some time with his little girl over the weekend.
The television star posted a picture of what appeared to be him in a gorilla suit with Dylan going trick or treating over the weekend.
George and Monika - who starred in Sex Ed with Haley Joel Osment - were married in 2011 but have been together for over a decade.

Back in 2010 the CSI actor told US Weekly he was excited to have finally put a ring on it: 'I've been with Monika for six years. We're best buds. She just lets me be myself and never nags.
'I love keeping the ring on her finger to let other guys know she's taken.'
Earlier this year the couple featured in Bravo's Flipping Out, design guru Jeff Lewis had been helping them remodel for an astonishing two years.
