Description

What makes this guitar special: These gothic Flying V’s are becoming increasingly rare. Finished in a sleek satin black finish with a dark ebony fingerboard, its appearance matches its name perfectly. The lightweight mahogany body will be appreciated after long nights of playing, and the slim neck feel makes lead lines virtually effortless. It comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, so you can be sure it’ll arrive ready to rock.

Cosmetic condition: Good condition for its age! There are various small surface and playwear scratches throughout the body, some light weather checking in areas of the satin finish, a few scuffs on the headstock, and some hardware oxidation. The sides of the fingerboard also show some finish wear, and light surface level cracking.

Body: Solid mahogany V body in satin black finish with black Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

Weight: 7lb, 8.6oz

Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with white side dots and ebony fingerboard. Frets show almost no wear, and have a full lifetime of use left in them. Single pearloid crescent/star inlay at 12th fret, and gothic portrait on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4” scale length. Headstock features a faded mother-of-pearl Gibson logo, with Grover tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: 496R and 500T ceramic humbuckers (Neck-14.70K ohms, Bridge-8.67K ohms) with 3-way black tipped pickup selector switch, and black tophat knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.

Case: Epiphone hard shell case included. Case shows some signs of wear.
