Not long after she served with the ultimate French girl bob, Emma Watson is back with a brand new hair look. Much like JoJo Siwa's XXL mullet, Jessica Alba's recently trimmed bob and Chrissy Teigen's newly dyed golden red locks, Emma is switching up her style for autumn 2022 and we are (say it with me now) so 👏 here 👏 for 👏 it.

In the pics, posted by Prada, Emma is debuting a choppy pixie cut. Whilst the hair look has been around since the dawn of time, the specific cropped cut and micro-fringe is very reminiscent of the 1960s. The 'mod' era, if you will. But that's not the only moment in time that it reminds us of, for if you cast your minds back to circa 2010, you will remember that Emma had this exact haircut. Talk about a revival, ey?

This is Emma's look back in 2010:

And here is the 2022 interpretation:

The promotional pic, which was taken to announce that Emma is the new ambassador for Prada Beauty, also features a stunning makeup look which includes a fluffy soap brow, broken graphic liner and flushed rosy cheek. A complete serve, if you ask us.

Having said all this, whilst we luuurve the look, it has to be noted that this may, in fact, be a wig (boo!). I mean, it is a professional work shoot, after all. Though, there's no telling at this stage, so, one can only hope.

Emma took to Instagram, too, to announce her new beauty role and shared she'll be making her directorial debut in the brand's newest refillable fragrance campaign. You can read her heartwarming statement in the caption of the below post:

Hermione would be proud!
