Meet the Cast and Characters of ‘One Piece’

Luffy is out to finally make his dreams of being a pirate come true and trust us, no one will stop him. As the leader of the Straw Hat Pirate, Luffy proves to be a caring and charismatic leader, completely upending the idea of what it means to be a pirate and inspiring others on his journey. Will he become the King of the Pirates? Only time will tell!

Iñaki Godoy is a Mexican actor who is returning to Netflix after starring in Who Killed Sara? and The Imperfects.

As a pirate hunter, Zoro's success in taking down even the biggest bounties has certainly made him a lot of enemies. But even though that's how he gets his berry, doesn't mean it's his true goal. He is also set on becoming the world's greatest swordsman. Despite being a pirate hunter, Zoro becomes fiercely loyal to Luffy and is regarded as his right-hand man, believing in him maybe even more than Luffy believes in himself.

Mackenyu is not a new face to live-action anime adaptations. He previously starred as Scar in the Fullmetal Alchemist films, Yukishiro Enishi in Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, and Pegasus Seiya in Knights of the Zodiac.

Nami is a mysterious girl who is not afraid to go after what she wants, literally. She uses her high escape and thievery skills to break locks of any kind and escape almost any situation. She is also well known for her navigation skills and dreams of making a map of the entire world.

Emily Rudd has appeared in Hunters and as Cindy Berman in the Fear Street film trilogy.

Usopp has many tales, but it's hard for most people to figure out if they are really true or not. Even then, his impressive slingshot skills and his dreams of setting off to the sea make him an important member of the Straw Hats. His heart and his emotions are all in the right place, even if they make him a little impulsive. Still, there's no better person you want on your team, especially a pirate crew.

Jacob Romero has had small roles in Greenleaf and Grey's Anatomy, while One Piece is his first starring role.

Sanji is known for two major things: his incredible cooking skills and his very impressive “Black Leg Style” kick-fighting skills. He is also a pretty big flirt when it comes to women, which can sometimes rub the group the wrong way. He dreams of reaching the All Blue, the place where fish from all four seas can be found AKA a chef's ultimate paradise.

A young and shy guy, Koby is oftentimes overlooked, especially as part of Alvida's crew. However, after escaping, he sets off on his own adventure to become a Marine. His story often parallels Luffy's as they both try to achieve their dreams, even if it means they'll eventually become enemies.

Morgan Davies previously appeared in Terra Nova and The Girlfriend Experience. He also recently starred as Danny in Evil Dead Rise.

The son of Axe-Hand Morgan, Helmeppo never had to work a day of his life until he was finally forced to join the Marines. His selfish nature has made him a lot of enemies both in and out of the military. However, he gains an unexpected ally in Koby as they start working together under Vice Admiral Garp.

Aidan Scott is making his big Netflix return after previously appearing in The Kissing Booth 2.

A ruthless and corrupt Marine, he is in charge of the 153rd Branch that is based in Shellstown. He gets his name from the huge steel axe on his right hand and is also known for his signature steel jaw which is super hard to miss. As the father of Helmeppo, he's allowed him to do anything he wants and doesn't seem to have any strong feelings towards his son, choosing to ignore him most of the time.

You better get ready to clap in his presence because Buggy is here to entertain you. As the leader of the Buggy Pirates, he is known for his (totally real) red nose and his clown makeup and demeanor. His main goal is to find the map to the Grand Line and will do anything to get his hands on it. He is a user of the Chop-Chop Fruit which allows him to separate and put himself back together with ease.

Luffy's mentor and the captain of the Red-Headed Pirates, Shanks taught Luffy all about the type of pirate he could be opposite of what the rest of the world thought of them. He is known for his kind of heart and also for choosing not to fight unless it's necessary.

Thanks to his skills with a Grosse Messer sword, Mihwak is considered the greatest swordsman alive right now. He has a connection to the Marines which allows him freedom in exchange for doing some work for them. Nonetheless, he is still feared and known for his ruthless tactics, especially if the bounty is big enough.

Steven is a South African actor best known for From a House on Willow Street.

A saw-shark fishman who will stop at nothing to make sure that he and his people are in power. With the help of the Arlong Pirates, he has become one of the most feared captains on the sea and has turned the world of one of our favorite Straw Hats upside down.

McKinley Belcher III is a renowned stage and screen actor, recently starring in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman on Broadway.
