Justin Timberlake and 8AM Golf are bringing a private club and 18-hole course to Nashville, after a series of land buys. Here's where the course will be located and when it's expected to open.

Justin Timberlake and 8AM Golf are collaborating to bring an 18-hole golf course to Nashville.

The course, named Bounty Club, sits on 363 acres fifteen minutes from downtown Nashville, north of Briley Parkway in Whites Creek. The "premier private club" is set to open this fall, according to its website.

The ownership group added an additional 112 acres to the site this month, purchasing several parcels from Ole South Properties Inc. for $7.5 million, according to Metro records.

King Collins Golf Course Design is designing the course, which has four vantage points with views of Nashville’s skyline. Pfeffer Torode is designing the club house.

“Blessed with centuries-old dry and wet creeks and gently rolling terrain, it’s nearly impossible to believe this seemingly remote site is only thirteen minutes from downtown Nashville,” Rob Collins, principal designer at King Collins, said in a February 2023 Instagram post. “The golf course takes full advantage of the natural terrain and opens and finishes with a dramatic flourish where the visible downtown Nashville skyline reminds you just how rare this opportunity is.”

Several land buys for the project by The Farm Nashville, an LLC affiliated with 8AM Golf, totaled $30 million, according to the Tennessean.

Bounty Club’s website describes the membership as being “highly curated.”

Bounty Club will open as country clubs across the nation are seeing waitlist numbers grow significantly from pre-pandemic. The number of country clubs with golf courses that had waiting lists rose from 25% in 2019 to 49% today, according to data from Club Benchmarking. At the same time, the median initiation fee rose from $29,000 in 2019 to $50,000 by the end of 2022.

Bounty Club joins 8AM Golf Club companies Golf Magazine, Golf.com, Nicklaus Companies, among others. 8AM Golf Club could not immediately be reached for comment Wednesday. The company’s chairman is billionaire entrepreneur and banker Howard Milstein.

Timberlake, who’s been an investor and partner in 8AM Golf since 2020, also partnered with Phoenix-based restaurateur Sam Fox for multi-concept venue The Twelve Thirty Club, located on Lower Broadway.
