Dogtooth is a culty, bizarre film about an affluent family who takes home schooling very seriously.

The parents in this movie never let their children leave the property, watch television, read or listen to music. That’s just the beginning - personal identity, language, religion and intimacy are all taught by the parents as well; the nature of true nurture.

Director, Yorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster, Killing Of A Sacred Deer), is a master of dark, dystopian, thought-provoking films that, though unrelated, have very similar undertones to the popular
Black Mirror series.

For a film shot entirely in a single home, Lanthimos blends natural light, colorful decor and strange soundscapes beautifully.  Are we not all just a product of our environment?
