I installed a new connector but want to make sure i installed the wires correct. Because finally recieved my vag-com back and seeing some issues that I didnt see before when scanning car. And last thing replaced that was wiring was the coolant sensor connector. If I clear the codes I posted below they come back after driving 30miles. No issues with anything but have the codes coming back. Here are my codes-

Your codes don't have anything to do with a coolant sensor so that repair is likely fine.

Those codes are found in the immobilizer and in the instrument network.

Do these cause any issues? or just codes that pop up? Does the immobilizer or cluster/dash give you any issues?

A disconnected or bad coolant sensor logs code in engine block like this one I had (-40.0°C):

yes I have seen the code before but if I wired the connector backward wonder what would happen. I was a ass and removed the old connector before installing the new connector. Worried I put the wires wrong way.

I have my harness hanging on the wall as Im rebuilding my engine. If you post a picture of what the sensor connector looks like, I will post a picture of how it looks on my harness.

See if the wire colors match yours. Although I would think temp sensors has no polarity (e.g. simple resister).

update-removed the connector wiring was correct but connection 2 wasnt seated in the connector all the way. So removed it and reseated. had to unbolt the harness and ground to pull it around the back of engine up on the other side to get more room. Cleared codes and drove 75 miles for work. no issues and vag showing clean bill of health. But I also cleaned all the relays in the ecm box so that also might of fixed it.
