The flood protection scheme involved construction of flood defences over a distance of 1.2km along both sides of the Water of Leith at Murrayfield to provide a one in two hundred year standard of protection. We led the £25m Water of Leith Flood prevention scheme on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council delivering the project ahead of schedule and 20% below budget.
