Undulatus asperatus clouds over the city! I don't think I've ever seen clouds like this here before. Pretty neat if I do say so myself. Video taken from around San Jose, CA. (Sunday, December 17, 2023)
*Weather scenario: Multiple storm systems would deliver wet weather to the Golden State this week, with 2-5 inches of rain expected in San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles & San Diego thru Friday. Rain showers were in the forecast for all of the Bay Area on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. However, the heaviest rain was to come in two spurts, from separate storm systems Monday & Wednesday. Monday’s rain was to vary in intensity, as locally heavy downpours & thunderstorms can cause urban flooding in low-lying areas & roadways. Gusts are also possible, especially along the coast, up to 40 mph. Tuesday was to feature continued light to moderate rain showers, before another storm system approaches overnight. Wednesday would likely be the wettest day of the week for much of the Bay Area, with totals ranging from 1 to 2.5 inches. Looks like our rainy season has finally arrived!
