I Rosa Taikons smycken möts tradition och förnyelse i ett unikt uttryck, hon var en av Sveriges tekniskt mest skickliga silversmeder. Och dessutom samhällsdebattör i frontlinjen för romers rättigheter. Efter Rosas bortgång donerades hela hennes verkstad till Hälsinglands museum, med målet att skapa den första permanenta utställningen i Sverige som berättar om en romsk konstnär.

ENG: Elin Thomasson talks about the museum's work to convey the story of Rosa Taikon, one of the most political artists of the 20th century. In Rosa Taikon's jewelery, tradition and renewal meet in a unique expression, she was one of Sweden's most technically skilled silversmiths. And also a public debater in the front line for Roma rights. After Rosa's death, her entire workshop was donated to the Hälsingland Museum, with the aim of creating the first permanent exhibition in Sweden that tells the story of a Roma artist.
