Olivier Giroud wasn't a big fan of the ALF TV series when he was a kid. In fact, the Chelsea striker is still 'scared' of the once-popular muppet.
The thing that Olivier's bedroom was close to an attic in his parents' house and he was afraid that Alf was living there - something that Giroud's older brother always reminded him of.
“This is so funny, but my brothers are older than me-I was the youngest, and they used to tease me about a kids TV character called Alf. Do you know him? Alf the alien, my God he was so ugly and I was so scared of him. My brothers used to say, ‘Be careful, Alf is going to get you tonight!’” Giroud said in 2016.
Olivier recalled the story in a recent interview with Pro:Direct Soccer's Fake New episode.
Gues what the interviewer decided to do after the 34-year-old's revelation? She threw the Alf muppet at him.
