This is the Batmobile that was used in Tim Burton’s Batman movies.
The good news is that it’s up for sale.
The bad news? It costs the same as a Bugatti Veyron.

The Batmobile was developed specifically for the 1989 film Batman, which was directed by Tim Burton.
It was also used in the 1992 sequel Batman Returns.

As crazy as it sounds, the Batmobile is actually based on a Chevrolet Impala.
The body panels were created from scratch and made from fiberglass.
The interior is a bit spartan and confusing, with two thin leather seats and a dashboard full of dials, knob and buttons.
The craziest part is the engine because the Batmobile is powered by a Jet Turbine, delivering over 10,000 hp.
Yes, you read that right.
It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, which is basically the same as your average supercar today.
The top speed, however, is mighty impressive at 530 km/h (330 mph).
It costs $1.5 million, which makes it only slightly cheaper than a Bugatti Veyron.
But as Warner Bros. made just two cars for the films, it’s even more rare than the Veyron.

Tim Burton directed the 1989 movie Batman and the 1992 sequel Batman Returns.
Both films star Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Jack Nicholson as the main villain, Jack Napier / the Joker.
Both films were critically and commercially successful, especially the first one, earning $400 million at the box office against a production budget of around $14 million.
Tim Burton returned as a producer for the third film of the trilogy, Batman Forever (1995), which was directed by Joel Schumacher.
