Schefflera arboricola is a dwarf variety of the umbrella plant, not to be confused the the more common and much larger Schefflera actinophylla. Its leaves are compound, made of 7-9 leaflets spread in a palmate shape. It is an easy to care for house plant that can tolerate a variety of conditions in the household, or outdoors in frost-free climates.
