America has Vin Diesel, Southeast Asia has.. this guy

We all know Hollywood actor Vin Diesel from the (almost) countless films he's starred in throughout the Fast and Furious franchise. With the 10th installment coming sometime in 2023, it's only fitting that we talk about another equally buff and bald man – Vin Diesel's Southeast Asian cousin.

The man, from Chiang Rai, Thailand, seemingly takes after the A-lister intentionally. After all, he mimics the actor in various photos depicting himself driving in a big, burly car, complete with an equally prominent cross hanging by a chain around his neck.

Big and bald.

As Mothership cleverly points out, the man is what we would call Dom Thai-retto (after the franchise's protagonist, Dom Toretto), and he doesn't really have to put in much effort to look like the actor. A photo he posted back in 2019 (above) recently went viral, garnering well over 77,000 shares on Facebook as of press time.

Going for a deeper dive into the man's Facebook reveals this isn't the first Vin Diesel-esque photo he's posted.

Here's one featuring him driving with a tough, smouldering face and one hand on the steering wheel:

But the one photo that probably sums up the man's admiration of Diesel is this one, standing next to an old car that vaguely resembles Dom Toretto's Dodge Charger:

Not quite a Dodge Charger, but still a sick-looking ride.

I only have one question in mind now.

When are these two guys going to meet?
