The wonderfully beautiful Ali Sadr Cave is among the low hills of Kabudar Ahang 75 km to the north-west of Hamadan near a village by the same name. It is in the heights of Sari Qayah, one of the strangest natural sights and probably the only water cave in Iran. In fact, it is an endless network of caves full of clear water. Historically, Ali Sadr Cave and two other nearby caves were used by Safavid army as secure refugees.

Ali Sadr Cave discovered in the first half of 70s by a group of mountaineers from Hamadan, and waves of local and foreign tourists flooded to visit the site since 1975. The width of the cave varies between 1.5 and 60 meters. In some sections the caves ceiling, more than 15 meters high, is cover with most beautiful cabbage-like stalactites hanging downward. The cave roof which covered with pure calcium carbonate is about 10 meters upper than the water level in some parts and mixed with other elements in some parts. The cave sediments can be seen in attractive shapes in abundance where there is no water. The interior view of the cave is very innovative. The weather is cool in summer and warm and in winter. Some proceedings done to increase the waterways for boating and the land routes for visitors.

Moreover, there is some accommodations, sightseeing and entertainment services for tourists around the cave area. And the possibility of climbing have been provided in this region.
