Selena Gomez is slowing down on making music and turning her focus to acting.

The actress and singer, 31, has opened up about her career and goals in a new interview.

“I do feel like I have one more album in me but I would probably choose acting,” Gomez said on the latest episode of the SmartLess podcast when asked about her two passions.

She added: "I am going to want to chill because I’m tired. I wanted to be an actress, I never really intended on being a singer full-time but apparently that hobby turned into something else."

“I don’t think I’m the best singer but I do know how to tell stories and I love being able to make songs," she continued.

The Only Murders in the Building star explained on the podcast — as reported by Variety — how her music career began and how she ended up having to juggle both singing and acting.

“I started having a lot of fun with music and then touring was really fun,” the star told hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. “But I was doing my TV show [Wizards of Waverly Place] at the same time and I just found it really fun, so I just kept going.”

She went on to admit that her outlook has since changed. “But the older I get, the more I’m kind of like, I would like to find something to just settle on,” she said.

The “Single Soon” singer also opened up about the mental health struggles she suffered after overworking. “I went to a mental institute and canceled one of my tours,” Gomez said. “It just got to me because I love working and it distracts me from bad things.”

The star also revealed how she became interested in music while starring in Wizards of Waverly Place — her breakout role on the Disney Channel.

“Disney is, it’s safe to say, a machine and, in a way, forcefully requires that I know how to sing so I could sing the theme song [of a show]. They know how to package someone and make it a whole triple threat thing,” she said.
