Miranda Kerr says her pregnancies haven't always been easy.

The Australian-born model mom, 40, opened up about her previous pregnancy while appearing on Bumpsuit's The Village podcast.

While things have been smooth sailing throughout her pregnancy so far, Kerr acknowledges, "The last two [pregnancies], I had to go on bed rest, so who knows what’s going to happen this time.”

In her last pregnancy, Kerr was on bed rest throughout the last month, which she found challenging in more ways than one.

“It’s hard when you’re a mom and you’re usually so active with the children. You’re the one that’s dropping them off to school, picking them up, and reading them books at night, and tucking them in — and you’re supposed to be on bed rest," she shares.

"That was really challenging for me, and that was actually one of the reasons why I was reluctant to have a fourth because I want to be fully present with my children and give them 100 percent.”

Kerr went on to say she's grateful for the ability to work from home and "to be able to manage both" her career and her family.

"I want to give my children my all. So it was challenging when I had to be on bed rest and navigate that. But I had lots of reading in bed with my kids, and they tucked me in!”

Despite her hesitance, she's been in a good place throughout her pregnancy thus far. "Mentally, I feel great. I’m super organized and know that my business KORA Organics is in good hands with the team while I take some time out," Kerr says.

"Physically, I feel really well, too. Apart from some early morning sickness at the beginning, I’ve been blessed with a healthy pregnancy," she says, then joking, "Though I’m not getting much sleep with having to get up to use the bathroom multiple times in the night!”

In her partnership with Bumpsuit, not only will the entrepreneur mom be the face of the brand's new campaign, but she's also curated exclusive pregnancy kits, available today, featuring Bumpsuit’s iconic catsuit —a full-body leotard designed to meet your body through pregnancy and postpartum, which is at the heart of the maternity uniform evolution — as well as their new Armadillo Baby Carrier and Kora Organics body oil.
